The local residents of a community in Kogi state have been left in total shock after unknown gunmen murdered the community chairman in cold blood.
The victim
A Facebook user identified as Comrade Idris Omuya Ihima has taken to the social networking platform and shared some graphic photos of a community chairman who was murdered in cold blood by unknown gunmen in the Okene area of Kogi state.
Omuya shared the photos and wrote;

"This is the body of Ozuwaya Community Chairman Mall AbdulMumuni who was murder yesterday by unknown gunmen at Okene!
What has our land turned to again? From Kidnapping, Robbery and now to Murder!
Is our land cursed?
Can't we our neighbours keeper by reporting useful informations to security agents?
I think motorcycle activities (Okada) should be stop as from 6pm for now in Ebiraland?
Suggest other way forward on how to stop and rescue this barbaric act?
May God put an end to this, and make the departed soul rest in peac."
