Media reactions and criticisms from Nigerians on social media have trailed the Nigerian Television Authority after a Twitter user, Olaoluwa Adeleye (@mrolaoluwa), shared some photos of a microphone used in interviewing a foreign diplomat.

Just after Olaoluwa shared some screenshots of an NTA correspondent interviewing British Ambassador to Nigeria, Paul Arkwright in the presence of Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III in the South West part of the country, Nigerians have lambasted the nation's oldest TV station for using a sellotaped microphone to interview the influential ambassador.
