A violent clash between the All Progressives Grand Alliance and All Progressives Congress supporters has led to the destruction of properties in Anambra state.
APGA and APC supporters clashed in Anambra on Friday
A violent fight on Friday broke out between supporters of Willie Obiano of the (All Progressives Grand Alliance) and supporters of Tony Nwoye (All Progressives Congress) in Aguleri area of Anambra state requiring the intervention of security operatives to prevent loss of lives.
An eyewitness, Ezenduka Valentine Chiduruo reported that the irate supporters of both parties hurled plastic chairs at each and fought with other dangerous weapons. The whole of Anambra state is currently tense as the keenly contested governorship elections will hold on November 18th, barely 7 days away.
"When I said am seeing riot and blood shade in Anambraship election some people think am talking nonsense. U can see part 1 by ur self... This happened at Aguleri yesterday. APGA VS APC." he wrote.
