Tension In Ibadan As Police Use Hammer, Cutlass & Guns on Protesters (Photos)

Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have been accused of using harmful objects on innocent protesters in Ibadan, Oyo State.

A Twitter user has uploaded photos of policemen allegedly using arms on students of the Federal College of Agriculture, Moore Plantation, Apata Ibadan this morning. The user simply shared the photos with this caption;
 
"@PoliceaNG attack protesting IAR&T students with Hammer, cutlass, sticks, guns ...Moore Plantation Apata Ibadan 9:50am today. take alternative routes to avoid stray bullets. More Pictures, info and updates shortly."
 
 
 
The cause of the fracas is currently unknown but the weapons employed in the brazen show of force has been brought under questioning.
