The Kogi Operation Lion Roar declared in the confluence state of Kogi to sanitize the area of criminal elements is beginning to yield positive results.

Several alleged criminal elements with dangerous weapons have been apprehended by security operatives in Kogi State as Governor Yahaya Bello flags off the security initiative - Operation Lion Roars.
This has entailed a 24hr curfew in some area of the state. Some of the arrested suspects are currently being investigated by the police.
