President Muhammadu Buhari received a Chieftaincy title of Enyioma 1 of Ndigbo on Tuesday during his visit to Ebonyi state. He also commissioned a golden statue reportedly that of former Governor of Eastern Region, Akanu Ibiam.
The president was visibly elated with the treatment he received from the Ebonyi state Governor Dave Umahi and his people. He also commissioned a few projects in the state. The State Governor Umahi, wife, Rachel; Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu; and other top officials were present at the occasion.
The president commissioned the 14.5 Kilometer Abakaliki-Afikpo Road, a federal road reconstructed by the state government; two overhead bridges, Akanu Ibiam and Sen oOffiah Nwali flyovers.
