Nigerian army spokesman, Colonel Sani Usman has confirmed the reinstatement of 3,032 dismissed soldiers over allegations of failure to engage the Boko Haram members.
The Nigerian Army has reinstated not less than 3,032 dismissed soldiers who were relieved of their duties for mutiny and failing to engage Boko Haram members.
Most of the soldiers were dismissed after they rebelled against their superior on accusation of the supply of poor weapons and non-payment of salaries and allowances.
NAN reports that the Nigerian army spokesman, Colonel Sani Usman confirmed that those reinstated were among the 5000 recently dismissed soldiers.
