People's Democratic Party chieftain, Governor Ayodele Fayose once predicted the victory of Governor Willie Obiano at the polls ahead of time.

Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, predicted the re-election of Anambra State governor, Willie Obiano, in his 2017 list of prophecies.
Obiano of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) had won the 2017 governorship election in Anambra with 234,071 votes, beating Tony Nwoye of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) who came second with 98,752 votes and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Oseloka Obaze, who came third in the November 18 contest with 70,293 votes.
However, the Special Adviser on Public Communications and New Media to governor Fayose took to his Facebook page to remind Nigerians of how his principal’s prophecies about Obiano’s victory came to pass.
He wrote: “Prophet Fayose! Just as he said in his 2017 Predictions, Gov Obiano has been reelected! See his Prediction Number 16.”
