So Sad! Man from Abia State Kills Parents While They were Sleeping

A man has left many people in serious shock after he used a machete to brutally murder his parents in their sleep.

A man has been arrested by men of the Abia State Police Command after he reportedly killed his parents with a machete.
 
The man identified as Osinachi Amanze who hails from  Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area of the State executed the terrible act while his parents slept. According to the police, one Chinacha Peter was also arrested for helping him commit the crime.
 
The Commissioner of Police in the state Mr. Anthony Ogbizi confirmed the arrest of the suspects in a statement made available in Umuahia the State capital.
 
He said a retired ASP Rowland Ikpeama in the company of the village head of Umuosama Umuokiri Nvosi in Isiala Ngwa South had reported at Omoba Police Station that Amanze killed his parents; Father, Jonah Amanze 92yrs and Gold Amanze 65yrs while they were asleep.
 
He said Amanze confessed to having killed the deceased with Peter, who hails from Umuokiri Ehinuguru in the same LGA.
 
 He disclosed that the deceased have been deposited at the morgue, while effort has been intensified to recover the machete used in the act which suspects claimed was disposed of.
 
A resident of the community revealed that the mentally-ill teenager had been threatening people in the community. Acording to the resident, “the boy has been suffering from mental illness. He has been a terror to residents of this community. 

“About two weeks ago, he inflicted machete cuts on a passer-by, who almost bled to death.
 
“Yesterday, we woke to the cries of neighbours that he had killed his father and mother at about midnight and fled.”
