The popular Young Shall Grow Interstate bus heading to the East from Lagos has crashed leading to loss of lives and properties.

Twelve people have died in a road accident after a 16-seater inter-state transport company bus crashed into a truck in Benin. The accident occurred at about 1pm on Thursday, September 3, along the Benin by pass. The vehicle involved belongs to Young Shall Grow Motors with registration number EKY 733 XD.
According eye witnesses, the bus was coming from Lagos and was going to the Eastern part of the country when the incident happened. The driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to avoid oncoming SUV and in the process it crashed into a truck parked by the roadside, an eye witness said.
Unfortunately, the driver and 11 other passengers died on the spot. Only four people survived. Those who survived are said to be in critical conditions and have been rushed to the hospital.
