See Records Made by Mourinho, C.Ronaldo, Lampard, Others on 2016 Guinness Book of Records

Jose Mourinho, Frank Lampard, Cristiano Ronaldo... (and Chris Smalling) all receive Guinness World Records certificates

Some of sports biggest legends including Jose Mourinho, Frank Lampard and Cristiano Ronaldo were all given the honour of being included in the new Guinness World Records book. It also comes as a surprise to see Chris Smalling handed two awards.  

New York City star, Frank Lampard was presented with his award for the most Premier League teams scored against, after former club Chelsea became victim No 39. He was delighted to be featured in the book and spoke about being a huge fan.

"I set goals throughout my career to break records and this is one I never imagined to get. I am a big fan of the books and always read the books with my daughters before bed so to feature in it is amazing. It was a weird feeling when I scored but it did get me the record so I am also very happy with the goal."
 
Delighted Jose Mourinho was awarded four certificates by the Guinness World Records

Chelsea coach, Jose Mourinho was awarded with four different awards. The Guinness World Records book team visited the Cobham training ground to present the 52-year-old with his certificates, which included:

1. The most Points in a Premier League season (95)
2. Most Champions League's won at different clubs (2)
3. Youngest manager to reach 100 Champions League games (49 years 12 days)
4. Most games unbeaten at home in the Premier League (77).

Mourinho was pleased to be recognised by such an iconic publication;

"The fact they gave me the awards in a way that I can put them up in my office is nice. It’s something fun and as a kid you could never imagine that one day you would be in the Guinness Book of Records. You know me, these awards are for something I did in the past and obviously it’s nice, but for me what’s more important is what I can do in the future."
 
Novak Djokovic was presented with his award for his record of the most Australian Open titles (5) and was
also a competitor alongside Rafael Nadal as they were both part of the longest Grand Slam final (5hours and 33 minutes).

Manchester United defender, Smalling also bagged himself two records after scoring the...

1. Fastest goal in the Premier League by a substitute from kick-off, when he netted against Burnley in just five minutes nine seconds last season.

2. Most goals in the Premier League scored by a substitute in the first half to join the likes of Lampard, Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Real Madrid star, Critiano Ronaldo, who scored his 27th hat-trick in La Liga, overtaking club legend, Alfredo Di Stefano,  and is also the most followed athlete and person on both Facebook (over 100 million likes) and Twitter (over 27m followers).
