A social media user has shared photos of some Nigerian soldiers being led by a camel in an early morning exercise in Lagos.

See rare photos of an early morning drilling exercise by Nigerian soldiers as they were being led by a camel in Lagos state. The pictures were taken by a social media user who wrote:
 
"I have always (since the 1970s) enjoyed watching soldiers as they perform their regular route march (endurance walk) and physical examination. They are usually accompanied by ambulances (usually Pinzgauers) and men from the medical corp who attend to those that collapse because of exhaustion.

I have always enjoyed their singing and dancing, but the most interesting sight has always been the mascots. These are pictures of Corporal Rakumi (the Camel) as he led soldiers from Bonny Camp on their route march this morning"
