A registered sex-offender reportedly whisked away a six-year-old who was in church with her family and sexually assaulted her in a bathroom.

William Brandon Coffey, who is a registered sex offender, has been accused of grabbing a six year old girl while she was on her way to the toilet at the Body of Hope Church in Raleigh in North Carolina on Tuesday, September 1.
Court documents state that he carried her to the men's bathroom and "covered the mouth of the victim when she attempted to scream".
When he had finished assaulting her he then kissed her and let her go, according to Investigator A. J. Doughty.
When the girl came back to her parents, Doughty wrote, they saw that she had urinated on herself and asked what had happened.
They called police, but Coffey had left the church before officers arrived, the News and Observer reported.

William Brandon Coffey, 33, was arrested in the 5200 block of Greens Dairy Road in Raleigh on Tuesday.
Police charged Coffey with first-degree sex offense with a child, first-degree kidnapping and indecent liberties with a child.
This isn’t Coffey’s first run-in with the law. He was also arrested in May 2009 and charged with first-degree kidnapping and indecent liberties with a child.
