Kwara Assembly Reacts as Ritual Killings And Exhumation Of Corpses Take Over Ilorin

The Kwara State House of Assembly has risen to the occasion as ritual killings as well the exhumation of corpses take over Ilorin.

Obviously disturbed by the high rate of ritual killings and exhumation of corpses in Ilorin, the Kwara State House of Assembly has said it will work to restore the sanctity of the ancient city, Vanguard reports.
 
Speaker of the House, Dr. Ali Ahmed, who lamented that the issues were becoming a daily occurrence and increasin-gly embarrassing to every responsible indigenes and residents of Ilorin, pledged to rally his colleagues towards ensuring that the act was stamped out of Ilorin and Kwara State in general.
 
Ahmad made the pledge when he played host to Concerned Muslims of Kwara State.
 
Earlier, leader of the delegation, Professor Lanre Badmus of the University of Ilorin, said the group was working on presenting a bill to the House to ensure that the city was rid of social ills and urged the legislators to assist.
