One of the contenders vying to become the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Raymond Dokpesi, has reacted to insinuations that he will step down.

High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, a leading contestant for the position of national chairmanship of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has declared that he will never step down for any contestant in Saturday’s convention of the party.
According to Daily Sun, Chief Dokpesi said this, on Saturday, when he arrived the Eagles Square venue of the convention.
His words, “I will not step down. I will never step down. My fate is in the hands of God and the delegates.”
Dokpesi also alleged that money had changed hands overnight, but expressed belief that the convention would still be successful still.
