Female House of Reps Lawmaker Showers Husband with N52m Christmas Gift (Photos)

A House of Representatives member has set the social media agog after she shared a photo of Christmas gift that she bought for her husband.

A member of the federal House of Representatives in Kenya identified as Kawira Mwangaza, has taken to her Facebook page to share the photo of a top of the range Prado Jeep she bought for her husband, Murega Baichu, a musician, as Christmas gift.
 
According to the Kenyan lawmaker, her husband supported her during her toughest battles, hence the gift, which is valued at Ksh 15 million (N52,252,950.00).
 
She also promised to use her salary to help over 1,000 disadvantaged families in Meru county.
 
She posted the photo and wrote, “To the special brave man who has fought the toughest battles to see me happy, please, Murega Baichu, humbly appreciate my gift for Christmas.

The car gift
 
“As you drive this car, remember to thank God; and always remind me to serve my people and to keep my pledge to lift lives.
 
“This Christmas, God has blessed me to bless others, especially the disadvantaged. In this case, from my own earnings, I will bless over 1,000 families within Meru county and show them mother’s love.”
 
Her husband, Baichu, who was overwhelmed by the gift, replied, “Happy is the man who finds a true friend, and far happier is he who finds that true friend in his wife. I love you, honey. I’m so excited. Wooow! I humbly accept it.”
