Nigerian pop singer, Solidstar has said that the just concluded NEA Awards do not interpret what they represent and goes to the highest bidder without the need of recognising creativity.

Although many have described the Nigerian Entertainment Awards (NEA) which took place last Sunday, September 6, in New York City as a huge success, but Nigerian pop star, Joshua Iniyezo, better known as Solidstar thinks otherwise, as he says that the awards do not interpret what they represent.

The Achievas Entertainment singer, said the awards have been watered down and now goes to the highest bidder without the need to recognising creativity, adding that good music does not get the awards, but rather 'famzers' get nominated while 'highest bidders' win the awards.

The Baby Jollof singer did not make the nominee list of NEA, so many wondered what his outrage was all about.
