Ekiti state workers may have reason to rejoice as Governor Ayodele Fayose has promised to pay them Christmas bonus on Thursday.

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has pledged to pay civil servants in Ekiti State Christmas bonus on Thursday. He made the announcement yesterday after he received N4.76bn Paris Club Refund from the Federal Government.
He tweeted: "I have received N4.76bn Paris Club Refund. It will be shared between the state and LG next week."
Then added: ”Civil Servants will get their Xmas bonus latest Thursday. Salary will come, leave bonus will come, Xmas bonus will come, Everything will come.”
