It's no more news that Thierry Henry came to Lagos and was crowned 'Igwe of Football' by football fans, but the trending gist making rounds is that the Arsenal legend was made to sing in Yoruba.

Henry and Simi

Retired French international football legend, Thierry Henry, who arrived in Nigeria during the past weekend for a Guinness event, was made to sing in Yoruba language by sensational singer, Simi.

Simi made a Yoruba boy out of the football legend when she asked him to recite one of the lines in her music tracks. "Mo'ooo sho'oooo rire ooooo" which is translated to "I am blessed" during a star-studded event in Lagos.

Henry who was officially crowned Igwe of Football, at first tried to dodge from the task but the music star's persistent call propelled the former Monaco man to give it a try. And he passed!

Simi shared the clip on her Instagram page and wrote; "Made a Yoruba boy outta @thierryhenry for one night."
