Policemen ensuring safety in a location in the South-eastern part of Nigeria scampered for safety as a truck lost control and almost crushed them.
The accident scene
Some men of the Nigeria Police Force escaped death this morning in Amadim Ukpor, a town in Anambra State as a full loaded sand truck failed to climb a hilly road and resorted to uncontrollable reverse.
It was gathered taht the policemen who were on duty at the checkpoint had implored their colleague who parked the vehicle to relocate it. Unfortunately, he wasn't fast enough as the truck crashed rolled over while the police driver entered to move the vehicle.
It turned out a sad moment as colleagues and others present had thought that that the driver of the Police vehicle had lost his life, but miraculously, the man crept out slightly hurt.
The police vehicle belongs to the Ukpor police division.
