People were left in a state of shock after a masquerade was reportedly killed by a hit and run driver in Akwa Ibom.

A masquerade has been killed by a hit-and-run driver along Nwaniba Road by Use Offot, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State Capital. The sad incident happened yesterday.
Eyewitnesses said the hit and run driver sped off after killing the man while on high speed while trying to avoid another vehicle on the road. The identity of the masquerade is yet to be ascertained.
