According to Le Buteur, the Chilean International is keen on joining Premier League rivals Manchester City, with both clubs currently in negotiations over a deal.
The Gunners boss, Wenger has identified Mahrez, who has also been linked with Liverpool, as the ideal replacement, with Leicester City looking to receive €55 million from any potential sale.

According to the report, Nathan and his father José Carlos Souza are in Lisbon to sign a contract with Belenenses.
The 21-year-old has given up the opportunity to join Atlético-MG. The Brazilian International will sign a loan deal with Belenenses for the remainder of the 2017-2018 campaign.
The former Brazil U20 star joined Chelsea in 2015 from Atlético Paranaense.
Last summer, he joined French club Amiens on a season-long loan but had to terminate the deal before expiration as a result of his lack of first-team opportunities.
