Boko Haram: Bomb Explosion Rocks IDP Camp in Adamawa

One of the of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in Yola, capital of Adamawa state, has been affected by a bomb blast.

According to The Cable News, one of the of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in Yola, capital of Adamawa state, has been hit by bomb blast.

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency confirmed the development, saying the incident occurred at a warehouse in the camp.

Spokesman of the state emergency agency, Sanni Datti, gave the name of the camp as Malkohi and said its inhabitants are currently being evacuated.

"I can confirm to you that there was a bomb blast at Malkohi camp this morning but we don’t have the details for now because we are busy evacuating people."
