Bomb Maker Blown To Pieces As Bomb Factory Is Discovered Inside 3-Bedroom Flat In Edo

A bomb factory has been discovered in Edo State after a man who manufactures bombs was blown off in an explosion.

Following an explosion recently, a suspected bomb factory has been uncovered at Iddo, Okpella in Estako East Local Government of Edo State.
 
According to The Nation, the incident reportedly occurred on Monday evening.
 
A source said a suspected bomb-maker was killed. One of his legs was chopped off.
 
The source said the suspected bombs were manufactured in a three bedroom apartment occupied by men from Kogi State.
 
Witnesses said they ran for safety when they heard the explosion.
 
The identity of the victim could not be ascertained last night.
 
The Nation learnt that youths mobilised and apprehended the occupants.
 
One of them, who reportedly escaped with a car loaded with explosives, arms and ammunition, abandoned the vehicle along a bush path and escaped.
 
The President of Iddo Youth Movement, Mohammad Mohammad, said: “We ran out when we heard the explosion. When we got to the scene, we saw a man escaping in a vehicle. The youth chased him, shouting that he had killed somebody. He was apprehended and taken to the divisional police officer before he was handed over to the area commander.”
 
Empty cans and explosive-making materials littered the apartment.
