Osinbajo and 9 Governors Swing Into Action To Save Nigerians From Killer Herdsmen

In order to stop the incessant killings taking place in the country, Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has swung into action.

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo has formed a committee comprising of nine state governors to provide solutions and an end to killings by herdsmen in all parts of the country.
 
The decision was reached at a meeting of the National Economic Council held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Thursday. Osinbajo will chair the committee comprising of the governors of Kaduna, Zamfara, Taraba, Benue, Adamawa, Edo, Plateau, Oyo, and Ebonyi states.
 
Speaking at the meeting, the Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, disclosed that the committee would collaborate with the Federal Government in addressing impunity regarding killings and violence.
