Last night, Victor Moses was caught in the middle of two different emotions. He didn't know whether to extend his arms to the skies in celebration or put them on his head in exasperation. In the end, he just did both. For it was his bustling run that had led to West Ham's second goal.

Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh was beaming on Monday night as Nigeria forward, Victor Moses, made an impressive debut for West Ham United in their 2-0 Premier League win over Newcastle.

Moses, who was selected from the start by coach Slaven Bilic, was one of the most outstanding players for the Hammers as he ran the Newcastle defence ragged.

He almost crowned a wonderful performance with a goal but his shot, after a brilliant run and dribble, came off the cross-bar before Dimitri Payet slotted the ball home to seal the win for the Hammers.

He was replaced by Andy Carroll in the 88th minute and received a standing ovation and applause from coach Bilic and resounding cheers from West Ham fans.

Oliseh, applauded Moses for his impressive display for West Ham and wrote on his Twitter handle: "West Ham’s second goal has Victor Moses written all over it. That’s an assist in my books. Congrats to Victor.
