A big monitor lizard in an undisclosed part of Nigeria met its demise today as its cover was blown causing some residents to go after it.

This reptile which showed up while people were going about their normal duties was killed after a desperate chase.
The leader of the hunting squad paraded the animal in public with a plan to prepare it for a sumptous meal.
