Operatives of the Nigeria Custom Service intercepted several jerrycans of petrol being ferried discreetly to an unknown location following an intelligence report.

As Nigerians reel in the crisis of fuel scarcity and massive inflation in purchasing products for over a month now, some unscrupulous people have been seen diverting fuel.
 
Customs officers were yesterday seen offloading seized 2,150 of 25 litres jerrycans of petrol in Ikeja, Lagos. The discovery has stunned Nigerians with investigations in top gear to unravel the culprits behind the act.
