A woman and his two sons have been banished from Umuike Obuofu community in Awka, Anambra State, after they were caught attempting to secretly bury her daughter.

The residents of Umuike Obuofu in Awka, the Anambra State capital, reportedly caught a woman and her two sons while they were trying to secretly bury her daughter on Sunday.
Multiple online reports revealed that the deceased was killed by the suspects, some days back and they’ve not been able to bury her, due to prying eyes.

It was gatherd that the suspects were caught yesterday, after the stench from the decaying body of the deceased, drew the attention of residents.
The deceased has now been buried, and the suspects chased out and banished from the community, after the police refused to get involved in the case.
