The spokesman to ex-president, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, Kassim Afegbua, has turned himself self in at Abuja police headquarters after being declared wanted by the Police.

Kassim Afegbua, spokesman of former military President Ibrahim Babangida, was at the Police Force headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday.
Jimoh Moshood, spokesman of the Nigeria Police Force, who announced that Afegbua had been declared wanted, received him in his office.
Babaginda’s spokesman was accompanied by Kayode Ajulo, his lawyer as the the trio smiled as they posed for photographs.
Details of Afegbua’s visit would be disclosed later.
Recall he police had declared him wanted over a statement he issued on behalf of his principal on Sunday.
Hours after the statement was made public, a counter statement was released, but Afegbua responded saying those who love Babangida more than himself issued the second statement.
Subsequently, the former military ruler confirmed the authenticity of Afegbua’s statement.
