Friends of a College Of Education student have been left devastated after he died while swimming at a river.
The body of the drowned student retrieved by the friends
A 200 Level student of the Department of Social Studies, College Of Education, Katsina- Ala, affiliated with University of Calabar has drowned while swimming in a river in Katsina-Ala, Benue state.
The sad incident happened on Saturday. The body of the deceased, identified as Nyitse Orfega, was later retrieved by his friends who tried rescuing him, all to no avail.
