Rumours have it that a former Minister of Aviation and People's Democratic Party chieftain, Fani Kayode has relocated from his Maitama, Abuja mansion to Ekiti government building to avoid arrest by the government.

According to Sahara Reporters, Femi Fani-Kayode is still holed up in the Governor's Lodge in Ekiti several weeks after he claimed he was sick and couldn't attend his corruption trials.
Fani-Kayode claims he is worried that Nigerian President might give him the "Dasuki treatment" as DSS is after him.

Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode's trial for an alleged fraud of N4.9bn was stalled recently due to his absence from the Federal High Court in Lagos.
According to Punch Metro, counsel for the former Minister of Aviation, Mr. Norrison Quakers (SAN), told the court that his client was unable to make it to court as he had been hospitalised for a heart disease.
While praying the court to grant him an adjournment, Quakers promised to furnish the court with a medical report to back Fani-Kayode’s claim of ill health.
