Civil Defence Officer Killed By Fulani Herdsmen In Benue Buried Amidst Tears (Photos)

One of the victims of the Fulani herdsmen crisis in the middlebelt region has been laid to rest amid gnashing of teeth.

A Civil Defence officer killed by Fulani herdsmen in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State has been buried.
 
He was buried by his colleagues amidst tears. The security agencies in Nigeria have been accused of being overwhelmed by the regular clashes between the herdsmen and the local farmers.
 
Nigeria Security and Civil Defence corps is a paramilitary that was established in May 1967 by the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with the act of National Assembly. The act was amended in 2007, to enhance the statutory duties of the corp.
