Controversial Kogi West lawmaker and All Progressives Congress chieftain, Dino Melaye has joked about apprehending the mystery money that purportedly made away with some millions.
Dino Melaye has finally reacted to the reports that a mysterious monkey swallowed N70 million at a farm, belonging to Northern Senators' Forum.
The Kogi representative shared a photo of himself with Senator Shehu Sani and captioned it, noting that they are strategizing on how to arrest the mysterious monkey.
"Sen. Shehu and I strategizing on how to arrest the Monkey that stole our money" he captioned.
Nigerians are yet to get over the story that a snake appeared at JAMB office and swallowed N36 million which has since being denied by the indicted staff.
One Senator Abdullahi Adamu (Nasarawa-APC) was removed as chairman Northern Senators Forum following the N70 million fraud.
Mr. Shehu Sani said about N70 million belonging to the group was claimed to have been carted away by monkeys in a farm house. Mr. Adamu’s removal was announced in a letter read by the presiding officer, Ike Ekweremadu, shortly before the end of the plenary on Wednesday.
The letter signed by the forum’s Public Relations Officer, Dino Melaye, noted that Mr. Adamu was removed for ‘financial mismanagement and misadministration.’
