The embattled Senate President Bukola Saraki was absent from his trial which was supposed to kick off today in the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
The accused box in the Code of Conduct Tribunal where Senate President Bukola Saraki is supposed to be standing during the first day of his trial over false declaration of assets was empty.
According to reports, counsel to the Federal government, MS Hassan, asked the court to compel Saraki to appear before the court and also requested that he be arrested and brought to court.
