With the general elections less than a year away, politicians appear to be resorting to their usual theatrics to garner public support.
Chief Chikwe Udensi
A gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in Abia State, Chief Chikwe Udensi, recently stopped his convoy at Akanu Ohafia, Abia State to assist victims of a road accident.
The accident which occurred along the deplorable Arochukwu/ Ohafia express way, involved a Volkswagen Jetta car which cut fire under the engine.
According to reports the owner of the car was traveling home with his family when the incident happened. It was gathered that it took the intervention of Chief Udensi and his entourage to put off the fire and saved the family from danger.
Some social media users have laughed off the incident as a public show probably filmed by one of his aides as the 2019 general election is knocking around the corner.
