The Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris organised a low-key surprise birthday party for one of his wives, Madam Asta yesterday causing hysteria.

A few months back, she took her husband by surprise with an
unexpected birthday bash leaving the police chief in utter shock as he never smelt a dead rat.
Yesterday, Mr. Ibrahim Idris decided to pay his wife back in a romantic way by giving her the same surprising treatment. On their return from an engagement in Kaduna State, she was also taken unawares by her friends and members of the family.
As she stepped into the house with her hubby, Madam Asta, the IGP's wife was greeted by the chorus song of HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! and the excitement turned from elation to evident animation.
She was all smiles as her husband joined her in cutting one of the magnificient birthday cakes.
