Nigerian Army Free Another 234 Women and Kids From Sambisa Forest

The military is really determined to wipe the nation clean of insurgents as their rescue mission has set free another large number of hostages from the claws of the dangerous Boko Haram sect.

 
After freeing a total of about 300 women and girls a few days ago, the Defence Headquarters on Friday said another set of 234 women and children were rescued at the Kawuri and Konduga end of Sambisa forest on Thursday.
 
This information is contained in a statement issued in Abuja by Maj.-Gen Chris Olukolade Director of Defence Information.
 
He said those rescued had been evacuated to screening centres.

”This set is in addition to the previous individuals earlier rescued during the ongoing operation in the area.

”The assault on the forest is continuing from various fronts,” he stated.
 
He added that current efforts were being concentrated on rescuing civilians held hostage and destroying all terrorists camps and
