A serving senator has 'attacked' President Buhari over his bogus promise to help Ghana fight corruption in the country.

A senator representing Bayelsa East, Ben Murray Bruce has reacted to President Muhammadu Buhari's speech promising to help Ghana fight corruption in the country.
Buhari made the promise on Tuesday in Ghana at the country's 61st independence day celebration.
Bruce while reacting to the statement asked the president should first show example of fighting corruption in Nigeria and not opposition.
According to him, the selective manner the president is fighting corruption in the country has made Nigeria a laughing stock among nations.
Bruce Tweeted: “Rather than promise to help Ghana fight corruption, show by example that you are fighting corruption, and not opposition in Nigeria.
“If corruption is increasing in your nation, you make yourself a laughing stock if you promise to fight it in another nation. Charity begins at home.”
