The Lagos Internal Revenue office located in Alausa, Ikeja, went up in flames but luckily the fire service was prompt in responding to the distress call.
The office of the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS), at the Good Shepherd House in Alausa, is on fire.
Vanguard reports that the third floor which houses office of the Director of Administration got gutted by fire. Men of the Lagos State Fire Service were prompt in responding to the distress call.
Although, the degree of the damage is yet to be ascertained, but the fire was put out about 30 minutes after it started.
