A car accident victim has been rescued by men of the Rapid Response Squad of the Nigeria police in Ikeja.

Men of the Rapid Response Squad of the Nigeria police have rescued a pedestrian knocked down by a speeding car along Opebi link bridge, Ikeja area of Lagos State.
The victim who received first aid treatment on the spot was left with serious injuries.
RRS shared the story on Facebook writing: "Early this morning a pedestrian trying to cross to the other side of the road was knocked down by an over speeding vehicle along Opebi link bridge, Ikeja. RRS operatives swung into action and administered first aid on the victim as a result of the serious injuries inflicted.
The driver of the vehicle has been arrested and taken to the Alausa Police Station."
