World Boxing champion, Anthony Joshua blew fans away with a demonstration of his incredible hand speed as he ramps up his preparations to face Joseph Parker this month.
The 28-year-old is gearing up for one of the biggest fights of his career as he seeks to add Parker’s WBO world championship to his IBF and WBA titles at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on March 31.
He will go into the fight as a heavy favourite – with some bookies pricing him as short as 1/12 – but, judging by his Instagram feed in recent months, he is not taking the 26-year-old Kiwi lightly.
Training hard from his camp in Sheffield, Joshua has kept his 5.6m followers up to pace with his progress.
And his latest clip has caught the eye.
Captioned “El Josho”, it shows Joshua working on his hand speed, whipping his hands into a blur as he mixes in a couple of his trademark deadly left hooks.
More than a million people have seen the footage since it was uploaded – and viewers were impressed.
“Parker ain't going to have a clue what's hit him AJ,” said one fan.
Another said: “The champ looks lean, bad news for Parker.”
“Speed is the key during this fight,” added another.
