A mother and her child has reportedly died in a tragic car accident after they were allegedly chased by the police.

A tragic incident has claimed the lives of a mother and her child after their car was burnt to ashes in an accident along Amassoma road, Bayelsa.
Eyewitnesses alleged that the incident took place following a suspected police chase. The incident is said to have caused tension in the area with many residents trooping out to visit the accident scene.
The identities of the victims are yet to be known.
