A man has been saved from death after his friends spotted him hanging from a rope as he tried to take his own life.

A Nigerian man has been saved from the clutches of death after he tried to take his own life in Hadejia Local Government Area of Jigawa State.
The incident which happened recently was as a result of alleged quarrel with his girlfriend. He was rescued by his neighbours who spotted him hanging from a rope. He was later given medical treatment.
