Boko Haram terrorists have revealed that they didn't collect any ransom money from the Federal Government for the release of over 100 girls they kidnapped last month.

According to a BBC correspondent, Stephanie Hegarty, the released girls while speaking on what the terrorists told them after they were freed stated that Boko Haram members preached to them in the morning of that Wednesday before letting them go.

"Dapchi resident told me Boko Haram preached to them this morning, saying three things - that the girls are not to go back to school, that they didnt receive money from Gov and that the did not sexually assault the children." Hegarty said.

This corroborates with the statement by Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed who had after the release of the girls told journalist that the government didn't pay any ransom for the release of the girls.
