Yul Edochie's decision to support Big Brother Naija housemate, Teddy A after being impressed by his character attracted a backlash from some of his followers.

Politician/actor, Yul Edochie few hours ago took to his Twitter handle to campaign for Teddy A, but his apparent support didn't go down well with some of his fans.
Admitting being impressed by the singer's gentlemanly nature and respect for women, Edochie took to his Twitter page to tweet the following:
“His looks might make you think otherwise.
But Each time I watch #bbnaija I realize how much of a fine gentleman Teddy A is, and he’s got a lot of respect for women.
I’ll vote for you everyday till the end of the show.
You deserve the money.
Best of luck Teddy A.”
After being attacked by fans who did not agree with him on his opinion of Teddy A, the award-winning actor and former gubernatorial aspirant went ahead to tweet his disappointmment in the Nigerian youths who seemed to have taken the Big Brother Naija show too personal:
“Just supported Teddy A and our youths are busy insulting themselves & families because of it.
Its just a game, folks.
Shame!
No wonder the Govt never takes the youths seriously.
We should channel our grievances to real issues facing us. Fuel is still #145, dollar is #360, hardship”
