According to Daily Star UK, four US marines have reportedly been killed in a horror helicopter crash in California.
The military helicopter crashed near Plaster City killing all four crew members, according to reports.
The cause of the crash is not yet known.
In a statement, Naval Air Facility El Centro wrote: "We are currently still responding to what we have confirmed as a single helicopter incident.
"We ask that you continue to be patient with us as the situation unfolds."
The helicopter was reportedly a CH-53E.
Public affairs officer for NAF El Centro, Kristopher Haugh, said: "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the brave service members and their families affected by this incident.
"We are thankful for the efforts of all who have responded to the scene and provided assistance."
El Centro added: "The situation on the ground is changing as new information becomes available. Once we can confirm the information, we will release it."
