Horror: Bus Swerves Off The Road, Crushes Two Fulani Women To Death In Ogun

A bus has reportedly swerved off the road, crushing as many as two Fulani women to death in Ogun State.

A commercial bus on Monday crushed two women to death in Ifo, Ogun State, The Nation reports.
 
An eyewitness said the Mazda bus with registration number KRD 689 XH veered off the road and crushed the two women standing by the roadside at the Ilepa – Ifo stretch of the Lagos – Abeokuta expressway.
 
The victims are said to be Fulani women.
 
The driver of the bus, conductor and passengers abandoned the vehicle at the scene of the accident and fled.
 
The Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), Babatunde Akinbiyi, who confirmed the accident to The Nation, blamed it on “dangerous driving.”
 
Akinbiyi said the remains of the victims had been taken to the Ifo General Hospital Mortuary by the police.
