'Stainless', a man said to be a really dreaded gang leader has been killed.
Local reports show that Stainless, the cult leader who is the alleged successor to Iso Akpafid, the slain most wanted Ukanafun terrorist in Akwa Ibom state, was killed by security agents.
The dreaded cult leader was killed in gun battle with police operatives. The police also recovered guns, bullets and other dangerous weapons from arrested cultists.
Awka Ibom Police Commissioner, Adeyemi Ogunjemilusi paraded the suspects in front of newsmen moments ago.
The notorious killer, one Akaninyene better known by his nickname “Iso-akpa’fid”, who hailed from Ikot Ibekwe in Ukanafun Local Government Area, got more than he bargained for, as he was not only killed by battle ready officers but his corpse was driven in a police van around the area while inhabitants took pictures of the “fallen hero” on January 15.
It is however alleged that his father and mother died years ago as a result of their son’s nefarious life.
“Iso-akpa’fid”, had been on the wanted list by law enforcement agencies for his alleged involvement in killings, maiming, kidnapping and r*ping of women.
