A young man identified as Njabulo Ntombela, a South African Bachelor of Law graduate of the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), yesterday, became the center of attraction at his graduation.
The young man pulled all eyes to his direction when he honored his great-grandma, Nomkikilizo Ntombela, by taking her on stage to share this special moment with him.
After being called to the podium, Njabulo, caused a stir by removing his gown, changing into his Zulu traditional dress, then made 89-year-old Nomkikilizo wear the gown instead. He then took her to the podium.
According to him, the gesture was to acknowledge her contribution towards his success in life.
